Fukuoka City Research and Development Startup Growth Support Subsidy 2020 Selection Ceremony

In 2020, Fukuoka City has established a new program to subsidize the expenses for the promotion of business operations for the purpose of supporting the further growth of research and development start-up companies with unique technologies that will drive the city’s economy in the future.
We have invited applications for the program and, after screening, two companies have been selected for the program and a selection ceremony will be held.
We will be holding a ceremony to announce the selection of the project, and we hope that you will be able to attend the presentation by the selected companies.

Soichiro Takashima

Mayor of Fukuoka City

Born on November 1, 1974.
He joined KBC Kyushu Asahi Broadcasting in 1997. As the face of the morning in Fukuoka, he anchors show programs and environmental programs.
He was appointed mayor of Fukuoka city in December 2010.
Re-elected in both the 2014 and 2018 elections with the most votes in history, and is now in his third term.
