We sell and produce natural drinking straws made out of reed. Reed is renewable material which is needed to cut down to keep the natural diversity. We manufacture re-usable and single use straws and customised and white-label straws. From our waste we have developed a method how to create a variety of different products (plates, cups, etc)

The goal of Star Cloud is to provide the best possible support for the creation and use of high-quality digital learning materials. Star Cloud also partners with publishers from Finland and Kazakhstan.
Our company was created in 2002, we deployed a learning management system called eKool in Estonia. The system was based on the needs of schools. Today we operate in 7 countries with over 2,5 Million active users, providing cloud-based school management system, parent communication tools and student performance analytics.
We provide software solution to schools, which increases parental awareness of school processes and make school management an easy task.
Functionality like analytics on child’s performance, messaging for teachers and parents, information on grades, attendance, class schedule and much more, makes it an essential tool for K-12 schools. Research has shown, that by using our system, teachers time on administrative tasks has reduced by 50%, helping them saving on average 45 minutes per day. Also, the parental involvement in school process has risen significantly.
By today, we have 17 years of experience in the field of school management. As we work in a very close contact with schools, we continuously develop our product.

Based on solid backgrounds in computer engineering and following our participation in the ConceptDrone Challenge in 2015, from which we emerged as winners, we created Akeros.
